University vs. Community College

I’m just about to finish my new journey (AKA my first semester) at ASU and while I love it let me just say that it is nothing like CAC. Community college and university are on two very different levels, not that it’s a bad thing. I came into ASU thinking it was going to be just like CAC, just a tad bit harder, boy was I wrong..

The university level of college wants your very best from you, not the best you think you have but the best they know you have. There’s a lot more pressure than there is at the community college level. There’s more lectures and more reading and therefore much more studying! Plus, you have to pay for everything at a university! (So if you’re transferring from a community college to a university say goodbye to free parking…)

Personally, I’m glad I attended a community college after high school instead of diving right into a university. I wouldn’t have been able to handle the coursework and my time management would have sucked, plus my stress level would be out of this world! I was able to use CAC as a stepping stone and get my Associate’s. I feel more prepared using the community college before the university in order to help further my education. But I give props to those who are able to jump into a university right after high school because wow! Go you guys! *Insert fist pump here*

Well with that said and maybe some new insight into this crazy college world, I beg you good-bye and you’ll hear from me soon!

Lot of Love,

Felie Fel ♥

So that’s why I’ve been MIA lately, late nights doing nothing but homework and studying. There’s not much room for free time but since it’s actually bad for you not to take a small break in between hours of studying, I’ve allowed myself to indulge in tv shows on Netflix. One episode is my break, and then it’s right back at it!
